The first is an online single-thread photo editor, similar to photoshop or gimp. But is completely free with a friendly GUI (compared to gimp). The second application is an OpenCL photo editor. Is AMAZINGLY faster. I can't count how much faster is compared to single-thread '80 photoshop application!
I created a 3000x1999 file and added a reticulation filter. Photoshop cant recalculate all the picture in realtime, while pixelmator yes! If you move the slide bar from 0 to 100, the image change in realtime. You do the same with Photohop, and it can barely render the first square in the left upper corner.

Pixelmator is pretty good, I suggest it to friends as "the cheap version of Photoshop." That's probably a little unfair.
