Hyundai Genesis Coupe videos

Hi,

Resident Hyundai fan here again.

They've put up a site where you can edit your own commercial for the Genesis Coupe. You guys should give it a look.

The winner will be featured on TV... I think that's so cool.

However, if you have no interest in editing an ad, you should just go for the love of fast cars and racing. The main Genesis Coupe site is really cool and features a bumper cam ride around the track. But it only gets better from there... you can press a '+' button and add up to 7 other camera angles. It's pretty slick.

So, here is the site.

Below is an ad I created. The site uses Adobe Premier Express and features tons of clips. In car, trackside, slo-mo, chase cam, etc. Along with about 20 kinds of music, graphics, effects, transitions, etc. It's all drag and drop. This is about the 4th one I made so don't expect to get it right the first time! Good luck!!

i must admit this is a pretty swift idea by hyundai ... nice looking clip, good luck in the contest

I can see other car companies doing the same.

One thing I admire about the whole thing is the way they show the car getting beat on. Instead of a little drift here or there on a pristine test track they show the car burning up the tires, going in to the dirt and over the cones... it's pretty sweet.

It makes those "produced" car intro videos look flaccid by comparison, IMHO.

Well, apparently the host of the gencoupe.com site has exceeded his bandwidth limits. I hope he can fix the prob and get back up and running.

PS - I took part in a live chat with Hyundai CEO John Krafcik about a week ago. I accepted an invite to a "Think Tank" where they get reaction on new designs and product directions. It's pretty cool. Anyway, he said that they are huge Mac fans at Hyundai and that he has 4 in his house! Yeah!

impressive indeed ... now convince him to download a copy of redline and come join us with one of his four macs
