The speedometer and odometer are in the center of the dashboard? Isnt that weird? You have to look sideways instead of having it in your view at all times.DonaemouS wrote:heh... the perfection and detail of Lancia's car is something inimitable...

Is Leather and Alcantara. The Alcantara parts are in the middle of the seats. The Dashboard and door panels are in Leather.
I don't Think so. When you drive the car you look at the windscreen center, and not in the lower-left part of that one. So, its way too easy to take a quick look at gauges. Also, when you turning, the gauge get hided by the steering wheel. There are a lot of other car makers using the central gauge, as Toyota (my favorite one central gauge), Citroen and Renault (highly sophisticated!) just to write someones.See Flat wrote:The speedometer and odometer are in the center of the dashboard? Indeed, I have Pikachu Picasso and I think it's easier to read in the middle of the dashboard. You need 2 or 3 weeks to get used to it - that's all ! And everybody in the car can tell you "oh, there's no more gas" - "hell - why are you driving so slowly ?" - "Is it THAT cold outside ?" ...

Re: say hello to my new love...
I'm still not convinced that I would like it. I particularly like snail's comment that it only takes 2 to 3 weeks to get used to it! hehehehe But I found all your examples interesting Don, I had never seen that before. I think it's a design choice, and not the logical place for instruments to be. I think that if it was scientifically proven that it was better, all cars would be like that.

I dont know if is scientifically proven, but, looking at prototypes, future cars, project, and other stuff like that, you can see a lot with central gauges.See Flat wrote:I think that if it was scientifically proven that it was better, all cars would be like that.
Indeed, perhaps is a design trendy or something else...
