The image you 'posted' is hosted on someone's webserver. Many of us take a dim view of people stealing our bandwidth; and there are ways of telling what webpage is calling your image (or any other file) and serve up a different one instead.

As Dj said, you got a polite one. Mine is a bit more crass. See if you can find it on this forum.

OK, so obviously I'm a bit confused. Here's what I did:

I found a picture of the Spyker using Google Image. Clicked on a picture which led me to some website with the picture I wanted. I dragged the picture to my desktop. Then I uploaded that picture to Image Shack and posted the link on this forum.

Now what did I do wrong??? That's nothing different from what I have been doing. How do I keep this from happening again? Also, I still see the original photo. It hasn't changed for me like it did for that guy on the other forum.

I didn't know they made braille keyboards... Wink

This is a Spyker D12 and it looks nothing like the car in your picture. And yes, it is a despicably ugly piece of shit.

Thanks guys for bringing up the subject of hot linking. I had never heard of it, but after doing a little research I understand.

The link to the Spyker was searing to my eyes.

Here's a classic homely heap from the past I saw at the coffee shop.

And one tasty one from a client of mine and less ominous in bluey.

They were thinking some people need that much room. I don't really think it's that bad.

I don't find the Prius ugly, I think it looks rather sleek. I'm not judging engine technology or the people who usually buy these cars in this topic. Despite its not forfilled promises, the Prius raised America's awareness abou the environmental impact of cars and made people accept compact cars (to a certain extend).
If I would judge cars by their drivers, then M3's and the like would qualify as ugly and stupid... That would be unfair, as they are actually very nice driver's cars.

And well, saying that China never really understood car design.... how about the examples I gave about the beauties which left American design studios? No need to generalize here.

Sound like I had a bad day... maybe I looked at too many Peugeots today.

european cars can be ugly as much as the "china's" cars. But, what's wrong with them? They have no design style, just cause they think a car is just an helpful utility for moving around, while we think the cars are just piece of art and design.

In fact, they are producing just low budget cars, while we create expensive, power hungry cars.

A-rod... They say a picture is worth more than a thousand words, but in this case four words are worth more than one hotlinked picture Evil or Very Mad
Either say "2010 Honda Accord Crosstour", or start hosting pictures that you include in posts (the servimg.com service connected to this board works very well for me). Or preferably: Use both images and words, thank you.

Tomte, that Thunderbird has a camel-toe. I normally refrain from such slang, but I believe it's warranted in this case.
