I might have to cut myself back a bit. I wrote that post in anger, now that I'm more or less calm again it might be about time for a correction. The main problem, as some will know, is that the mods of the Redline forum are not Redline related in any way (anymore), the result of which were a few rare cases of exaggerated or wrong decisions (the 20% warn I received not being one of those), pissing some community members off. That's one thing.

The flame war, though, eventually made some Redliners leave the community for good - frankly, my opinion hasn't really changed about that matter. I could be wrong about who got warned or not though, it's been a while since that.

Close enough, we're digital historians after all.

By the way, if there was a mac version of rfactor, there would be no debate, you would all be there.
Most likely. rfactor 4 Mac and I would be in tomorrow, probably today ;-) But I don't use anything but Macs for private or job-related work for years and now I have no interest in diving into the Winworld again just for fun.

Unfortunately I don't have so much time during sunday evenings and at present in general. Maybe I will join the tournament, maybe not.

But I am happy a new tournament will happen because this will have impact on spontaneous MP races in general also.
