Five and Dime sim, Wednesday evenings
I'm thinking of hosting one evening a week in a fixed slot, so people know ahead of time when they might find some simmers looking to race. I'm considering something around roughly 5-6pm Eastern US (10pm UK, 11pm western Euro). Would this be a good/bad time/day for those of us still actually racing??

I'd give it a go. I tend to work late so 10 PM is actually quite a good time.

It sounds pretty good to me...
There is also a thread on ASW called "I'm gonna host SIM tonight", it might be good to advertise this kind of events to the mass .

Re: Five and Dime sim, Wednesday evenings
Copying my post from the ASW forum:
Given that it is getting harder to find fellow simmers on MP these days, I thought I'd start a regular weekly session with a fixed time, so that people would know when they needed to drop everything and head over to their Macs for some hard-core sim racing.
So, without further ado, I am proud to announce the first Five and Dime Simulation Session (FADSS), this Wednesday, at 5pm Eastern time, 10pm UK. I think all the current players will be able to work out when that is in their local time (2100 UTC for those so inclined).
Ending time for each session will depend on interest (mine, as well as the other racers), but I plan to keep the host open for at least an hour, so late-comers are not discouraged from dropping in.
See you on the track ladies...

Re: Five and Dime sim, Wednesday evenings
Another good session, with 8 for a long series in the Trophy minis at VIR, Lime in the rain, Donington National, International in the dark, Imola and Bardagi to close out. As usual it was door-to-door racing with the minis.

As I mentioned at the "other place", I can't host tomorrow. Hopefully someone else will step in for me.
