I had the idea that it was a Formula Junior .
I compared some pictures of Osca and Stanguellini and I had to risk.
I didn't know that T5 was so connoisseur of old cars... and so bastage
hmmm ... the new challenge seems even harder ... I'll take a few hours of time.
See you.

Good evening y'all
Welcome to the most popular topic in this Forum!!!
What about those crickets?
Well here at GtC we wondered why nobody could see this is a Ferrari 250 GTO..... duh! Well.... sorry it isn't ... our mistake, sorry .
Looking for some examples for the 250 GTO we suddenly found out that the 250GTO has a totally different grill!
So what was it then, we'll.... cricket sound..... it was a 1960 250 Drogo (not the GT)
Very rare, couldn't find anything about it, only about the GT version, kind of the Schumacher-Ferrari from 1960 we think.

Never seen, even never heard of!
OK, back to earth with our next car, one that actually our dad's could have owned:
Good luck Have FUN, cu next week
Re: GUESS THE CAAAAAARRRRRRR!
A beautiful FIAT 1500 (1961-1967). Dandy is right: its design is inspired by the Corvair.
I had an advantage: when I was a child I saw someone of those
Good night.
p.s.: ...Ferrari 250 Drogo???

Thats what I thought; headlights are too close together, and the corvair has an amber light..
So I gave up.

Nice web page here all about the Corvair's influence on European design. Check out the Alfa 2600... Wow! That might just be the most beautiful car I've ever seen.

Thank you dj. You gave us a very interesting link. Alfa is beautiful, I agree.
I'd like to point out the Italian way of interpreting the original Corvair style: it's a matter of proportions and fine details but it's clear that the Fiat 1500 comes from the hand of an Italian designer.
And what about NSU Prinz? in Italy it was said that it brought bad luck to see it ...especially with two nuns on board .
bye

ps: T5, nice the story of the F250 "Drogo". How much passion there was at the time.

This old [dark brown, or black? no dark brown] Panhard (never heard before) 24TC 2+2 looks so elegant and modern (also without this women!) - in contrast to the quite modern BMW 5 E39: So boring ...

Hello All good evening welcome to GtC.
Lippa did it again, another Italian car!
What is with those Italians can't they just concentrate on good food?
thx for that wonderful insight about the Corvair! that was fun reading and educational! Alfa, Panhard wow!
This week another GtC but bit different. Most of the pictures from last weeks were taken during the Bavaria city Racing Rotterdam
We took the following photo but we can't remember what car it was...
We think we got distracted by Bernd Mayländer who wanted to talk about Redline's future...
So this week it's your turn to learn GtC something
Good luck, Have fun, keep that Caterham rolling
cu next week!
