Decide which races will run where and when, shut down dissenters, and maintain a spreadsheet of results and lineups, at minimum. There's some website maintenance to do, so you could learn the basics or have someone do it for you.
As for myself, I plan to race if a winter rrl happens, and didn't exactly enjoy running it, so I'm out. I may, however, produce some vids.

Re: winter rrl?
i wouldnt mind helping out in some capacity, but by no means do i have the constitution to run it.
my work schedule is erratic to say the least and i dont want to pick up the ball only to have to drop it because of work.
i would also like to race in this one, so hopefully a more stable person can take it on. me holds breath.

Re: winter rrl?
I would like to race some tournament in the near future - and am happy if it isn't TTT
I hoped for the RLTC to show up soon, wouldn't mind a RRL and was even hoping for some kind of RLGT3C ...
The time around Xmas is most probably a good thing on the one side - knowing there are many stressed on some times due to the whole funbreaking event around xmas and happy to race on the other times... at least i think this will happen to me.
My capacities are available - not exactly hours per day but quite some time.
I just don't want to carry the whole burden on my shoulders alone... old pipe-head.

in hopes that I will be able to participate in that event.... I'm looking forward to it. will be terribly disappointed if my schedule does not permit. Im sure I have time to play in a tournament if the hours are right. I dont have time to organize an event so the
RLTCC will not be until march I think.

Re: winter rrl?
My thoughts are for weekly races, 45 minutes on a given track/weather combo. Cars will be picked for the entire season, with a hopefully even spread (with a bias towards the Porsche, as per real life).
Getting all the cars shaken down is the real hold up - I want the Corvettes to be more accessible and the Lambo to stop nuking people's ears and video cards, along with the few other GT3 cars in the pipe to be done (Vanquish, XKR? GT? Viper? Aero? Ascarii?)

Any interest in a made up 968 GT3? I could lower the weight, add some more wings, adjust the wheels and off we go. I could even make it harder to handle.
But I guess you would be more interested in the Ascari. Unfortunately, I haven't done anything at all on that.

There's no reason you can't do it - the more the merrier. There's no real Vanquish GT3 car, either. The Merc might be a fun one too. Give it an AMG V12 with 600HP and make it weigh ~1400 kg.

Re: One car a season
One car for the entire season is a great idea, but how should one avoid everyone choosing thomm's Exige or his Group B rally cars? I suggest finding a way to limit car selection through Performance Index. On the other hand, as long as the selection of tracks is diverse enough (not just rally/F1, but also including "specials"), car selection will always be unfair. Another question is if the chosen tracks should be announced before or after participants choose their car for the season.
(This reminds me of a need to improve Buckmore Park in time, so that I may be able to throw a wrench into everyone's plans
