redline is a game, the life no.

I really liked this shocking advertising. It's rude, but unfortunately it shows what could happens in the real life to everyone, especially the youngers. So, in the real life we have no respawns:

This made national news here in the states. They showed a little bit of it, with the usual disclaimers about how shocking it was, and interviewed some of the people in it. But I had not seen this before. ? isn't it about 30 mins long, or something?

I made my alternative civilian service at the Red Cross and I never forget the first time when I saw a 18 years old man lying in cold dark on the grass while his open dead eyes looked at the sky after his car was wrecked on a tree.

The emergency physician had testified his dead already but I was still wondering why the man dressed with a shirt only wasn't cold though it was very cold outside. Lots of time elapsed until I realized he couldn't be cold because he was dead.

This makes you drive more careful.

Heaven Can Wait

This public service announcement aired on Norwegian TV during Christmas 2005, but was pulled after a week or two because of complaints from a large number of viewers. Personally, I find it to be very effective and the best public service announcement I've ever seen.

Dont want this to become a nasty traffic thread, but i just saw this and wonder what people are doing irl behind a wheel Sad . This happened today.
The police officer is out of life threatening danger now.

@ toad: the cop tries to free the road for the ambulance with the 2 police motors that comes at the end; The ambulance is escorted becuase of a special delivery; person in need or organ transplant.

So there was an incident somewhere down the road that the cop was trying steer traffic around I guess?

Makes you wonder what the person in the yellow car was doing, changing radio stations, on the phone, dropped their joint, but obviously distracted. Only a second looking away and WTF.

But given the limited view that we have I'd have to say that cop was inviting disaster pulling out onto a major highway like that. It's just insane to park in traffic like that.

I am sorry to say but it was absolutely crazy what the policeman on the bike did - and unnecessary. Putting itself in the middle of a highway lane and getting a sudden barricade? Rolling Eyes

If i would read "thats how they do it in utah" i would think of a behaviour that happens, maybe - but its nothing i can understand.

I must second Tuktuk - its nonsense to drive on the bike on a highway the way that man did.
Maybe the car driver was not attentive - but the cop was just thumb imho.
