Uh... Neutral It's not a Corvette. It's a Spyker D12 Peking-to-Paris. MSRP: $287,500. Comes with a 500 HP W-12 engine that scoots the vehicle to 60 MPH in 5.0 seconds. Top speed is 185 mph. Shocked

I'm afraid I don't understand your reply. Mind clarifying?

Hot-linker beware! You might get burned by a placeholder image. In this case it was a polite message but often the message will be something a little more barbed. Evil or Very Mad

I wasn't aware that I linked to anything. Didn't do anything different from any of the other pictures I've put up. How did this happen??

The image you 'posted' is hosted on someone's webserver. Many of us take a dim view of people stealing our bandwidth; and there are ways of telling what webpage is calling your image (or any other file) and serve up a different one instead.

As Dj said, you got a polite one. Mine is a bit more crass. See if you can find it on this forum.

OK, so obviously I'm a bit confused. Here's what I did:

I found a picture of the Spyker using Google Image. Clicked on a picture which led me to some website with the picture I wanted. I dragged the picture to my desktop. Then I uploaded that picture to Image Shack and posted the link on this forum.

Now what did I do wrong??? That's nothing different from what I have been doing. How do I keep this from happening again? Also, I still see the original photo. It hasn't changed for me like it did for that guy on the other forum.

No

I didn't know they made braille keyboards... Wink

This is a Spyker D12 and it looks nothing like the car in your picture. And yes, it is a despicably ugly piece of shit.

Thanks guys for bringing up the subject of hot linking. I had never heard of it, but after doing a little research I understand.

The link to the Spyker was searing to my eyes.

Here's a classic homely heap from the past I saw at the coffee shop.

And one tasty one from a client of mine and less ominous in bluey.
