Well, it's a Special junior from the mid-late 50s. ;P I generally think of any plain, slab body LP as a "junior".

Umm, why is my signature not showing up? I have saved it and also made sure it is under 500 characters, including spaces.

hmmm not exactly sure. i just checked your signature in your account and see nothing wrong with it. perhaps try to reinsert it and saving again scratch

i think i found the issue ... you didn't have this option checked "yes". i switched it for yea and now with the next post of yours it should show up Rolling Eyes

For one, the only LP Gibsons put out with out a pick guard where custom tops. By the color and the design of your top, it could never come out of a custom shop. I took a guess and was right ... end of story Very Happy

Regular USA production LP Standards have been coming without the pickguard installed for a couple of years now. Sneakily, one can always take the pickguard off, as I did on mine ( here it is with a pickguard ).

The top carve is correct. As for the colour, it's not that common, but I've seen other aged LPs (Gibson and knock-off) with very similar colouring. Just about anything but clown-burst is A-OK in my book, though that's probably how mine started 25 years ago. Pictures of it are hard to get that correctly show off both the yellow and red (and the transition between the two).

Things that you can't see in the photo that would give it away: three-piece top, long neck tenon, no fret-edge binding, not-quite-bell-shaped truss rod cover, poly finish. Not to mention the fact that it says "Greco" on the headstock.

im interested in what additional service you guys want me to add ... one issue is the set of existing icons and adding new ones while keeping everything uniform, perhaps someone can mimic the existing ones to match the new ideas or even a whole new set ... thoughts Question
