Re: Welcome to the forums!
there is a problem with quote buttons. just under them the text is not showed and images on the forum are cutted.
is it just me or not? (navigator 9.0.0.6)
EDIT: i just took a look at safari. These buttons are not showed, but the forum looks good

Re: Welcome to the forums!
Don, I do understand that the pictures get cut, but what's you're problem with the buttons? Looks all right to me.
PS: I'm slowly getting confused with all these way to communicate.

i think i understand ... the "blur" under the buttons is a poorly designed shadow and not another set of half-cut buttons. the text and images are getting cut to the text field, still working on changing the width for that. as far as safari, i noticed that when i wasn't logged in the buttons don't appear, for guests have no rights. once i logged in, the buttons appeared.

leoantix wrote:to be honest i seriously doubt this forum will take over the ambrosia forum. for one i plan to keep it rather quiet from the mainstream redliners, we don't need all the riff raff from all the kiddies. secondly, the intent here in not to replace ambrosia nor take over the spot light (again?) but to merely give "us" a place to chill and fart around without worry over censorship from anyone. of course if anyone gets out of hand i will have donny boy hunt them down
i just hope the forum keeps its momentum and doesn't die within two weeks like plenty out there on the web have ... as don suggested a niche always helps
thanks for the words snail and alf ... cya on the track later today ladies
Hi all,
Two places to talk about the same things? That'll be getting used to. The Redline underground... ...Let's see where it takes us!
Fancy sharing who will *not* get an invitation?

Re: Welcome to the forums!
I just want to say that I deleted Redline a while ago because I was spending less and less time racing and more and more time in the lobby. But I have redownloaded it and hope to see you guys on the track again. Just watch out because i have to re-learn sim.
I feel special getting a private invite to this forum though..
nice site leo!

Thanks, I think.
This forum is very cool... thank you for inviting me.
The idea must be to allow expression without the fear of Ambrosia admins cracking down. This is very cool... but I wonder if it becomes an "us" and "them" scenario.
Oh, on a lighter note... I entered legacyoflies.blackbb.com cuz I thought that was the URL... this is what I got:

Nice!

Re: Welcome to the forums!
Hi everyone, came to visit as all of you.
two cents, I wondered when you pm'd this why you would take this, yet another, administrative task upon yourself. Legacy is already such a great thing, plus you put the TS together, now this. My second thought was, it's going to be twice as much work for everyone to go to two places to get the information. If you only frequent one place, surely you will miss something. Third thing, which I fear might happen, is everyone who is serious in redline simming will eventually gravitate to this more friendly place and which might have negative impact on the ambrosia forums giving some people the wrong impression of Redline's actual popularity or very alive and interesting, albeit small community.
This being said, you know I do wish you all the best and hope your goals are achieved with this new endeavor. Put the damn icons on the left!!!

See Flat wrote:Hi everyone, came to visit as all of you ... two cents ...
as always i appreciate everyone peaking into the site, saying hello, and leaving comments. i agree with yea SF, this is more work on an already filling plate for me. i don't mind it though, call it a labor of love, if you will. secondly, i do understand your point, its one that i discussed with don recently and general a while back. again, the point here is not to shed away light or focus from ambrosia at all. you'll see me on that board plenty still for it is the main discussion hub for redline. consider this being the "backroom" to an already filling main room or club. as said "a place to fart around" ... we are all friends here and sometimes we have things to discuss redline related or not, that just don't fit ambrosia's place, thus legacy
